To Whom It May Concern:
In the past 35 years, my professional work has focused on real estate disputes. This includes 25 years as a real estate litigator and 10 years as a real estate mediator. In that context, I have seen just about everything that can go wrong in a residential real estate transaction.
It was not without some trepidation that my wife and I began considering the sale of our home of 25 years.
Because of a long standing personal relationship with Donald Linden, we sought to retain him as our agent. We are so glad we did.
In the course of the transaction to sell our property, which began with the listing agreement and continued through and after the close of escrow, I dealt with Mr. Linden sometimes daily or more frequently. I found him to be attentive, considerate, knowledgeable, focused both on the big picture and also on the minutiae of the transaction, and highly competent in his work. He listened carefully to our needs and interests and gave us good advice in satisfying them. He made valuable suggestions and carried them out in a more than professional manner.
Having come from a perspective in my law and mediation practice in which I saw all of the bad that can happen, it was such a pleasure, a relief and a surprise that our sale transaction could go so well. I believe that Mr. Linden was, in large part, responsible for that.
It is always a pleasure to work with a professional who is actually professional in his work. Mr. Linden has my profound thanks (and my wife's) for the excellent manner in which he handled the sale of our home.
Very truly yours,
David I. Karp
